Hey sis! Welcome to the Deuteronomy Companion Library, your companion resource designed to help you study the book of Deuteronomy in context and discover God's faithfulness, His covenant promises, and His call to wholehearted obedience. Whether you're using the Bible Study Corner™ Guided Bible Companion, studying on your own, or teaching others, you'll find tools here to help you dig deeper into God's Word with confidence.
This page is filled with carefully selected resources to help you understand not only what Deuteronomy says, but why it matters. As you journey with Israel on the plains of Moab, listening to Moses' final words before the nation enters the Promised Land, you'll discover a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness throughout their wilderness journey, His covenant with His people, and His desire for hearts devoted to Him. Moses repeatedly calls Israel to remember what God has done, trust His promises, and choose obedience that flows from love. Most importantly, you'll see how every chapter points forward to Jesus Christ- the greater Moses, the perfectly obedient Son, and the One who perfectly fulfilled the Law on our behalf.
My prayer is that these resources encourage you to slow down, open your Bible, and deepen your love for God's Word. Deuteronomy isn't simply a farewell speech from Moses; it's a heartfelt invitation to remember God's faithfulness, love Him with all your heart, soul, and strength, and trust that His commands are given for our good and His glory.

But First... Pray
Prayer Before Studying Deuteronomy
Heavenly Father,
As I prepare to study the book of Deuteronomy, I ask You to quiet my heart and open my mind to Your truth. Thank You for preserving Your Word and for reminding me of Your faithfulness from generation to generation. As I read, help me remember that Your promises never fail and that Your Word is just as relevant today as it was when Moses first spoke these words to Israel.
Open my eyes to see more than a series of speeches and repeated laws. Reveal Your heart behind every command, Your steadfast love for Your people, and Your desire for wholehearted devotion rather than empty obedience. Teach me what it means to love You with all my heart, soul, and strength, and to trust that Your ways are always good.
Help me recognize how this book points to Jesus Christ- the greater Moses, the perfectly obedient Son, and the One who fulfilled the Law on my behalf. May I see Your plan of redemption woven throughout these chapters and grow in my appreciation for the grace You have given through Him.
Give me a humble and teachable heart. Help me to slow down, ask thoughtful questions, and carefully observe what Your Word says before turning to outside resources. May Your Holy Spirit guide me into all truth and transform not only my understanding but also the way I live.
Lord, help me never forget Your faithfulness. Strengthen my faith, deepen my love for You, and give me the courage to walk in obedience each day. May this study remind me that following You is not merely about knowing Your commands, but about knowing and loving the God who gave them.
Thank You for inviting me to know You through Your Word. Draw me closer to You as I study, and may everything I learn bring glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
